This upcoming Friday, the school is having their annual
Multicultural Festival. The girls are involved in the "Ballet Folklorico" dance portion of the program. A lot of time, practice, and preparation is put into this evening at the school. There will be multicultural performance by the students, a carnival, and a book fair. This is such a fun time! I volunteered to help with the hair bows for Aden's class this year, and made bright green bows with red roses. I also helped with the boys costumes in Azul's class. All of the boys have green glittery strip on each side of their pants. One of the things that strongly influenced our decision to put the girls in the "BILINGUAL" program at their current school, was the cultural side of the program!
