(Kathy Andrews Fincher) Last night, while taking a break during my class down at the Dell Children's Medical Center, I bought this figurine in the hospital gift shop, it reminded me of Aden and Azul, and I LOVED the message on the bottom!

Saturday Morning Game

Today Azul had an early game, and Aden's game was rescheduled for Thursday, so we have the rest of the day off. The girls are doing so good with soccer. I just love to watch both of them play. Carlos is going to go to Houston this afternoon with the girls. His aunt is in the hospital with breast cancer. She is in her 70's, so the mastectomy was too much for her body. I have to work this afternoon, or I would be going also. Please keep Carlos' family in your prayers.

Sock Hop up at the School

We all went to the "Sock Hop" up at the school Friday night. The girls had a really good time with their friends. There was a dance, BINGO, cake walk, and lots of other activities.

Walking and Riding our bikes every morning

We have been walking and riding our bikes to school every morning. This has been great exercise for all of us. We went up to the school yesterday and played soccer for about an hour! My legs were so sore this morning. I only have two more classes of lecture left!!! I am getting my certification for a Spanish Interpreter Assistant. The class is a 40 hour class, but I am almost finished. The girls have a Sock Hop this Friday. The girls only have 3 more soccer games, and 3 more practices! YEA! Then we'll get a little break.

No School Today!

Today the girls were off from school, due to a teacher work day. It has been a beautiful day! With the girls out of school on Monday, it means NO sleep for mommy! I am still working Sat and Sun nights up at the hospital! But the girls have been enjoying the day with their friends. They all took their dogs for a walk in the afternoon. I had to take a picture, they all looked so cute. The pictures are of Aden, Azul, Tiffani, and Claudia. The dogs are Sissy, Sassy, Cookie, and Buster.

I am having a really hard time posting the pictures a friend sent me. But, I am going to keep trying, because the pictures of Aden are really good. WELL, I finally was able to post these pictures!!! Aden is #7.

Now this is Soccer weather!!

Now this is soccer weather! Today has been an absolutely beautiful day for the girl's games. Azul's game was this morning, and Aden's game was at 12 noon. I volunteered in the concession stand from 1 to 2 pm this afternoon. Both of the girls are really doing well and enjoying their games. Next season, we are thinking about putting Aden in the Dallas Texas, which is a more competitive league. Here are just a few of the pictures from their games today.

Last Saturday's Games

The girls both had GREAT games last week! These pictures were taken by some other parents at the game. The girls are really enjoying the games and their new friends this season. I love to see their smiles after scoring or doing something to help out the team.

Lunch up at the school

I have been trying to come up to the school every Friday to eat with the girls. It is really nice, since their lunch times over lap by 10 minutes. I took the camera, but forgot that I had in my purse. I took only one picture right before Aden had to go back inside for class. Aden was eating an ice cream sandwich and being silly, when I took this picture. Her friend Fernando, ate lunch with us today. Azul had one of her class mates eat with us also. I look forward to going up to the school on Fridays!

Fridays!

Fridays are turning out to be my day up at the school with the girls. Yesterday, I redid the hallway bulletin boards for Aden's class. The hallway board for their class is a LONG board! I did a fall theme, which will last through the end of November, then I'll change the board to another theme. I have been eating lunch with the girls on Fridays, which has been a lot of fun. I'll take a picture Monday to post on the blog.
