The girls have missed the last two weeks of dance, but it felt good to be back tonight. The group practiced several different dances tonight. The video clip is a "sewing dance".

Tigers and Sidekicks WIN!
Today the girls had back to back games, which is actually really nice. Both of their teams won today. Actually, this minor league does not keep score, but believe me, the kiddos do! To it was our turn to bring snacks for BOTH teams. So we had some extra "stuff"with us today. We have all enjoyed this soccer season!

OH How I LOVE Wednesdays!
Wednesdays are the first day of the week, where I have a little time to myself. It's a dreary day, but all is quiet here at home. Yesterday, our home was filled with "Little Girls", so there was a lot of giggling etc...I am enjoying the quietness of the moment. Later, when the drizzle stops, I want to check on our Guava tree. It is covered with tiny fruit, which should be ready to eat in a week or two. I took this picture over the weekend. Guava is a small, sweet fruit from Mexico and South America. This tree was given to Carlos and myself when we were first married, from Carlos' Tia (Aunt).

Saturday Morning Activities
I worked extra last night, and when I arrived home this morning, everyone was already awake. So we decorated Easter eggs this morning. This was a really fun kit. It was of course, a "Princess" kit. After we decorated the eggs, Nabelys, one of Aden and Azul's little friends came over with a basket of eggs. They played "Egg Hunt" for quite a while. Carlos left this morning to purchase more lumber. He is going to put the front of the shed on today and finish the shingles on the roof. I don't want him working on the shed tomorrow.

The Final Act!
The shed is almost finished. Carlos put on the roof, and he is just about finished applying the shingles. I have to laugh, because he bought shingles that were twice the cost of what we have on our own roof! Tomorrow, he'll finish the front of the shed and put on the door. The girls enjoyed sitting up on the roof with Carlos while he placed shingles. We all enjoyed some UMM, UMM, GOOD BBQ chicken. We'll put the left overs in the ice chest. The new refrigerator arrives on Monday.
So Much for a Restful Day!
Today is Good Friday, and everyone is home today, and it is suppose to be a "restful day", right....I woke up this morning, and our refrigerator had decided to have a HOT FLASH! Anyway, we bought a new refrigerator this morning. The old one was seven years old and not worth fixing. Carlos also has been out working on the shed. He is almost finished! Every picture I took, the girls would run to be in the picture, NO they were no helping with the construction. The plan is go to Good Friday services later, then BBQ the "thawed"out meat and chicken. YUMMY.......

Nothing like fresh air!
What a gorgeous afternoon! Aden had soccer practice this afternoon. Azul's practice was canceled due to several parents leaving town etc...oops...Carlos forgot to tell me! Azul enjoyed having her "own" practice, while Aden practiced with her team the "TIGERS". Azul later decided to play on the playground at the practice park.
